Before Carpet Installation
Make a plan to keep children and pets are kept away from the work area on installation day. Our installers use a variety of tools and techniques that can make the work area hazardous.
Pre-existing flooring should also be removed at least a day before installation. If you have old flooring, consider how it will be disposed of. This can be a time-consuming and messy task. Our flooring specialists will be happy to discuss removal options with you.
Please remove all the furniture from the room. If you wish, the installer will do it. If not, you should make arrangements to have it removed.
After Carpet Installation
When the installation is complete, you should do a thorough walk-through. This will allow you to see the final results and ask any additional questions. We want you to be 100% satisfied with your carpet!
You'll also need to establish good ventilation—especially if you or a family member is sensitive to odors. Some chemicals, adhesives, or tapes can have an odor for up to 72 hours after the job is done.
